Stephen Ministry
Preparing to Learn, Grow, and Serve by Becoming a Stephen Minister
Do you have gifts for caring, encouragement, and listening? If so, please prayerfully consider becoming a Stephen Minister.
Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one ministry by trained lay members of our congregation. Stephen Ministers assist our Pastors by providing ongoing visits to both church and community members who are experiencing a difficult time. Stephen Ministers provide emotional and spiritual support and care to people who are going through a difficult time, such as divorce, grief, hospitalization, unemployment, terminal illness, relocation, chronic illness, or loneliness.
To become a Stephen Minister it requires 50 hours of training to prepare you for your ministry supporting those in need.
